La Bohème by Puccini
Last performed at Santa Fe in 1993, the role of Mimi
will be shared by Jennifer Black and Serena
Farnocchia. Musetta will be sung by Nicole Cabell,
winner of the 2005 Cardiff “Singer of the World”
competition. Rodolfo will be shared by Gwyn Hughes
Jones, a young Welsh tenor, and Dimitri Pittas.  

Così fan Tuti by Mozart
The quartet of lovers includes two important young
Americans making their company debuts—
Katharine
Goeldner
(Dorabella) and Norman Rheinhardt
(Ferrando)—along with
Susanna Phillips as Fiordiligi
and
Mark Stone as Guglielmo. Dale Travis will be
Don Alfonso and
Susanne Mentzer will play
Despina.   


Platée by Jean-Philippe Rameau
Santa Fe’s first staging of a Rameau opera. The
production, which will be new, is inspired by Pelly’s
production from the Paris National Opera.
Jean-Paul
Fouchecourt
, who created the title role in the Paris
production, makes his company debut as Platée.
